“Although the game looks very simple and easy in appearance, the real play is not simple. We put our heart and soul into the game to realize the elaborate and accurate system of batting and pitching. A player can feel lively the game as if he becomes a real baseball player as hitter or pitcher,” said the developer.

Players will be able to develop game characters just as wished, and further decorate the character distinctively using various items. Acquire various pitching skills as well as powerful special techniques during the course of gameplay. Character development will be done by level upping the acquired skills.

Players will be able to pitch and bat with fine control, via a touch-and-drag system. They will also be able to employ various strategies and even engage in psychological warfare, by selecting and combining various skills.

As for the overall graphics, the game sports a crisp cartoony look, powered by an in-house 3D engine called “D.Monster.”

“We considered many common cartoon engines to create the images we wanted, but we could not find a suitable cartoon engine for our game. For the reason, we developed D.Monster engine. ‘Baseball Town’ shows high quality graphic and high performance on iPhone 3Gs as well,” said the developer.

Baseball Town will be comparable to that of commonplace baseball games by stylish characters and unique play grounds like a South-American style public square, a seaside and a meadow.

Baseball Town is set for release at the end of March of this year. Currently the official site is holding an event of giving out game money for free.

Cathay Life routed Taiyuan 83-65 and Chunghwa Telecom beat Taipower 60-54 Wednesday as Cathay Life leads the first round of the six-round WSBL regular season 3-0 and Chunghwa Telecom followed with 2-1.

Cathay was led by Lan Hao-yu’s 19 points. Chiang Feng-chun, who re-signed with Cathay Life after leaving the team for one year, had 14 points. Huang Fan-shan had 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Chan Chi-fang led Taiyuan with 19 points. Ma Yi-hung did not play due to injury.

Hsu Chien-hui paced Chunghwa Telecom with 21 and 10. Lin Chi-wen had 15 points for Taipower, which remained winless.

The 2012 WSBL regular season runs from Feb 11 to April 29.

This was truly a delightful romance adventure full of some of the funniest dialogue between a hero and heroine that I have enjoyed in awhile but somehow still, the story was sexy and moving at the same time. Adrian and Sophia married out of duty but have never truly disliked each other, they just have not really know the other and they have had to overcome a truly heartbreaking situation that leads them to be more at odds with each other. I loved watching Adrian protect Sophia whenever something came up in their search for the murderer that affected her on this personal level, very swoonworthy Sophia tucks this show of emotions inside her to examine more closely later. Also during their search, Sophia is finally able to present herself as her true self and it helps take some of the blinders off of Adrian and leads to some very hot scenes! Once again, Adrian is beyond understanding in this area and when he finally confesses his true feelings to Sophia, sighworthy! My only small complaint about this book is there was no epilogue! I really felt like it needed one as a few threads were left dangling but maybe will we see this adventurous couple again in the future someday? I hope so because I feel like they have more stories to tell! If you are looking for a fact paced, sexy, smart adventure with a feisty, bold heroine and a hero who wants to protect her at all costs, many of them on a deeper level as the heroine is totally capable of taking care of herself physically, grab the newest from Shana Galen! You won’t be disappointed!
